What does Footylab do?
Footylab compares bookmaker prices against transparent statistical signals and shows the market edge, stats rating, and overall value for each row.
What is Market Edge?
Market Edge is a signed percentage showing whether a bookmaker's price is better or worse than the rest of the market for that exact team or player. Positive is better than average, negative is worse.
What is Stats Rating?
Stats Rating is a 0-100 score built from Footylab's weighted stat categories. For H2H it reflects team-vs-opponent strength, and for ATS markets it reflects how strong the underlying stat profile looks for that line.
What is Overall Value?
Overall Value is centered on zero, but the method depends on the market. H2H compares the stats expectation with the market expectation. ATS compares where a player ranks by Footylab stats versus where the market ranks them within that same match. Positive means value, negative means ripoff, and the band around zero means the two views are broadly aligned.
Does Footylab use black-box models?
No. The product goal is transparency over complexity. Supporting price and stats evidence is shown so users can inspect the reasoning.
Is this financial advice?
No. Footylab is informational only and should not be treated as financial advice or a recommendation to place a bet.
